Hobbies and Interest

I used to collecting stamps during my pass time. Various types of stamps have been collected. Most of the stamps are from Malaysia. However, I also collect stamps from many different countries such as Singapore, Japan, China, Australia, United States, United Kingdom, some of European countries, and many more. I get these stamps from the stamps exhibition, post offices, pen-pals, friends and relatives.

Reading is another activity that I would do when I am free. During childhood and teens, I used to read ‘Bookworm’ (which is from Singapore) and Enid Blyton’s. After then, the books that I mostly read are historical or classical books, such as the History of China, World history, the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, The Tale of Two Cities, The Great Expectation, Treasure Island, Ben-Hur, Moby Dick, and so on.

Now, I seldom read as the time is getting insufficient in campus. Listening to music is one way for me to relieve stress. I listen to any music, like classical, R&B, soft rock, and so on. However, I prefer to listen to pop music due to the melodies, lyrics, and the artists. Any lingual songs are listened, ranging from English, Mandarin, Malay, Japanese, to Korean. I may not understand the songs, but I am attracted to the melodies. Here, I would like to recommend people to listen some fantastic Japanese songs, like V6 ‘Darling’, ‘Feel Your Breeze’, ‘Thunderbird’, Arashi ‘Arashi’, Johnny’s ‘J Friends’, Ayumi Hamasaki ‘Voyage’, and many more.

I also spend more time in a new hobby --- browsing Internet! Whenever after I use computer to finish my assignment, I will browse the borderless world. I spend as much time as I can enjoy the never-ending sources of information available on the Internet. It's been almost 5 years since I went online and I have enjoyed it! I have always been fond of the amount of free and open information exchanged on the net. For those who like travel, history, geography, and different countries’ culture, I would like to recommend them to browse LonelyPlanet.com. It’s a wonderful site!
